While visiting friends that own a Sheltie kennel last weekend (March 30, 2008) I made the mistake of opening the cookie jar.
This morning (November 4, 2007) I passed my long awaited flight test. Below is a picture of me with my
instructor Juliette Marczuk (center) and the Transport Canada examiner Martine Dumas (right). A special
thanks to Juliette and the crew at the Carp Flying Academy.
Here is an image showing GPS track points for the areas I have flown over this past year (2007).
As you can see the majority of them are centered around Carp Airport (CYRP) and the Ottawa
practice area. It is now time to add more cross-country flights.
Tonight (19:45:00 - June 26, 2007) I performed my first solo flight at the flight school.
Below is a picture of the plane I was flying.
I had my first cross-country flight today August 3, 2007 (outlined in yellow below).
We did deviations from Round Lake to Calabogie Lake then onto Carp Airport.
I have had the great fortune of traveling to Heidelberg Germany several times through work.
